I just wanted to share this recipe with you. Back in 2008 I had a summer job in Brussels. Around the corner was this wonderful Tex Mex restaurant that served the best burritos ever. (I'd never eaten burritos before, so I had nothing to compare them with, but oh well!) I'd been meaning to make burritos myself for the past couple of weeks, but I never really took the time to actually look for a recipe. A few weeks ago, I finally found it - a recipe that seemed very promising. I made it and it sucked. I put way too much stuffing inside the wrap, so I wasn't able to actually wrap it. Anyway, I made them again last week (K. helped) and they were absolutely delicious.
It's so difficult to take a proper picture of the inside of a burrito. Someone will have to explain to me how to do it. I'm looking at you, Joke! For those interested, you can find the recipe here. I subbed the zucchini for cucumber, because neither of us is very fond of zucchini and we didn't have any in the house.
Another thing I'm excited about is that we (or actually, I) have decided to make our civil wedding a little bit more personal. We don't have a church ceremony, so we thought it would be nice to have our civil wedding be a bit more "us" instead of just plain boring legal stuff. We've been talking music (we're looking for three songs) and we've come up with three songs - for now. We might change our minds about them later on. :) Cos we got it like that.
I've also found two texts already, but I'm looking for one more. That extra one could be a text that we'd like the registrar to read out loud, but it's also possible that we'll choose to exchange vows. We're still not sure about that though. (K. is all like "Well, if that's what you REALLY want, I'll do it." He's so romantic.)
What do you think? Would you have the registrar read an extra text about marriage or would you choose to exchange vows instead?
Exchange vows. No doubt! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to come up with vows that are actually good, though. :(
Xx
ReplyDeleteMaar alles klinkt meteen zo corny en belachelijk in 't Nederlands. :(
